Journaling:
I have been doing some thinking about the places where I find myself going to for a respite - a pit stop, so to speak. There are many things that I do to calm down and recenter myself.
I like to escape to the computer and
I want to cry, this is so beautiful. I hope you frame this and give it to him for his birthday, Christmas, Father's day, someday special. It is one of the loviest tributes to a husband i have ever seen. Aside from the incredible journaling, the layout itself is a masterpiece. Your clusters are so delicate, so fragile, so sweet and gentle. The stitching looks wonderful. The crochet, the sequins, the suble octagons. There is not one thing about this I would change. It is staggeringly, amazingly, wonderfully, fabulously PERFECT.

Such a touching page. Your journaling got me crying T_T . You did amazing scrapping your pit stop. Bravo!

Love this page and your journaling is fantastic! Love that it looks a little like an open book. Your flower clusters are lovely!

Just WOW! The whole layout is absolutely stunning. The journaling is great, I love all of your "pit Stops" and so many great ideas for some rest and relaxation! You did an amazing job on this challenge!

Love the story and understand as my husband has been my rock for almost 48 years. I love your layout with the three separate photo clusters and the stitched down paper. Great job

Gorgeous! The journaling on both pages is so wonderful and I love how you've incorporated all the photos and flowers around it!

What a wonderful journaling! And while reading it I thought that you were talking about me. I also find inner peace in scrapping, reading, knitting or crochet, taking a walk (and making pictures for scrapping). But at home I also have a really loving and understanding husband. Mine is called Jaap, I really can find peace while he cuddles or hugs me! Great page!

Beautiful journaling and I love the feelin of a written journal. Great pics and clusters too.

Beautiful, just such a beautiful page. Loving all the journaling and how you tucked those little octagons in.

Your journaling is very touching...You know people talk about candlelight dinners and champagne, of flowers and kisses as romance but I think what you have said about the cuddles, it seems most romantic to me! Lovely journaling page!

Outstanding page!! I loved reading your thoughts through your journaling. The design of the page is fabulous. I love that it looks like a journal with the stitching down the center. Great job of coordinating the elements with your journaling. Love it!

The biggest compliment I would have would be to say that "This does not look like a digital page." Instead, it looks like an actual journal entry! Absolutely an incredible layout here! And the journaling is spectacular. ...There are so many ways to recharge but to have someone there for you by your side is unbeatable! Such touching words, sweet photos, and the stitching in the middle just puts this over the top to gorgeous!

Amazing page I love how you incorpated that journaling around our photos and clusters. Good luck this week

Wow- incredibly awesome and heartfelt journaling. Beautiful clustering around each of the photos and love the way the journaling flows around the photos/clusters. Beautifully done.

I love your take on the challenge. Such a beautiful page, perfect in every little detail. Good luck!

I was so captivated by your heartfelt journaling, I forgot to even look for an octagon. Isn't it wonderful to have so many ways to find respite? This is lovely, and as a quilter, I always enjoy seeing stitching :)
