Oh what fun journaling to read this was... It amazes me how much comfort our pets can bring... And your's apparently did... Yes, the joys of having a kitten!... I have found you cannot scold a feline..lol ... The photo of her in the snow is just precious.. What a great story of hope and survival.. Kudos

She slept with the stuffed penguin for weeks, and she chewed off the flippers. The vet thought she was substituting the penguin for her litter mates since she would have slept snuggled like that had she been with her mother still.
