Journaling:
Bruce and Scarlett were wonderful this week. Bruce worked on his art a lot and played really well with Scarlett. He gave her rides on his back and they were both laughing so hard they couldn’t talk.

I did a lot of scrapping this week and got a ton of pages done and posted at GingerScraps. It was fantastic to ignore all the work I needed to get done and just indulge in fun!

Monday
After spending the day at Steven's, I got home in time for us to leave for San Clemente to meet Pam and George. We ate at the Fisherman's Restaurant and had their special, which was only $7. It was big enough that Rand and I could have shared! we had a great time. The guys walked down the pier while Pam and I chatted.

Wedneday was the Bolsa Girls birthday lunch day. We met at the cheesecake factory to celebrate Leanne’s birthday and managed to get a picture of all of us together. Usually, Viv is rushing off to another event and misses the picture. We all graduated in 1972, but I have only reconnected with them since our 40th reunion in 2012. SInce then, we have celebrated our 45th and 50th reunions and lots of birthdays in between.

Sunday - Father's Day.
Steven, Nessa, Bruce, Scarlett, Karen & Jon came over. We all settled down to watch Midnight in Paris. I made firecracker chicken and rice. It was delicious. I made a vegan stir fry for Karen and Jon. That was pretty good, too.

After everyone left, Rand and I settled down and watched the first two episodes of The Chosen, Season Five. It is a remarkable series and really shows Jesus as a man with feelings, while maintaining the sense that he was also divine.
