Beuatiful page and story! What a great take on the challenge. A wonderful refelction!

I have had the opportunity to visit the travelling wall- it seemed large but sure it is no comparision to the real monument. Excellent journaling that worked up my own emotions. Awesome and powerful photo and page.

I was in the US Army during Vietnam and I had friends who died there, including one while I was in high school that stunned our school he was so well-loved and respected. RIP, Don. Your journaling brought back all the emotions of that time - the sorrow and heatr-break, the joy when our loved ones came home, the anger and indignation at the way our service members were treated by certain sectors of our society when they did come home. You need never apologize for a translation. Your journaling is so touching the tears are still coming.

Wow! This photo is amazing! I loved your journaling. You made a really beautiful page. Good luck in the contest!

I'm speechless, reading your journaling moving me to tears, I know what you mean, once we visited at the Winter war museum, it was winter, and there are 17 acres of stones representing a soldier who died in Suomussalmi and Raatte road battle, it was really sad being there, listening the sound of the brass bells that is located as monument, remembering really move me to tears. I hope one day the human see to another human with fraternal love and empathy, as part of the big family that we are, and the wars really stop over the Earth. Thank you so much for sharing your story and reading my comment. Sending love on your way. Good luck!

Your journaling is really quite powerful with your layout. The picture is perfect and the story that you told is amazing.
