Oh, my, this sure does take me back in time to when my mother and I made Christmas cookies together. She always called these cookies "sand tarts," but I knew there had to be a German name for them, like the Spritzgeback and other cookies we'd make. Do you put powdered sugar on these? Anyway, LOs like this are delightful because food is one of the closest cultural ties we have to each other. From the rough translation I'm able to make, I gather there's an issue about always taking photos of the baked goods, no matter how good or bad they are. Am I correct? I ask because I had this same issue with my youngest son. A great layout, by the way, illustrating not just your yummy cookies but also a generational difference of opinion.
