<p style="margin: 0px auto; padding: 0px; caret-color: #3e3e3e; color: #3e3e3e; font-family: Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;">We took one of the first cruises allowed out of the port of Los Angeles and one of the stops was in San Diego. This is from that day. The journaling tells the story. It reads:
<p style="margin: 0px auto; padding: 0px; caret-color: #3e3e3e; color: #3e3e3e; font-family: Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;">"When we were in San Diego we walked along the Embarcadero and near the USS Midway was Tuna Harbor Park with a number of war memorials. The city calls this larger than life statue “Embracing Peace” though it’s creator – J. Seward Johnson – actually titled it “The Unconditional Surrender.” It reminded me of my parents. Dad was a sailor and Mom a Navy nurse during the Korean War. They were married for 54 years before Mom died and Dad loved her more than anything except Jesus. I miss them both.
I used the required, provided items plus some things from "It's Magic" by Karen Schultz. I recolored the word art and a bit of the provided frame.
