Journaling:
Two famous women whose graves are often visited are Gertrude Stein and Edith Piaf. Stein was a highly intellectual, boundary-pushing figure in Paris in the early part of the 20th century. Originally from the USA, Gertrude Stein spent a great deal of her life in Paris hosting gatherings of artists, playwrights and poets. She pushed social boundaries and conventional thinking through her writing. Edith Piaf was a somewhat tragic figure who seemed to have grief and death follow her throughout her short life. She was a cultural icon and gained fame with songs like La Vie en Rose. She is buried with her father and her last husband in a grave that is frequently visited by fans who leave flowers to honour her memory. The two women and the two graves couldn’t be more different but both are well known and a part of the history of Paris.
What a very pretty background paper you chose to use and it goes so well with the photos. Thank you so much for sharing what your journaling says. I really enjoyed reading it all.

I like the emphasis that you placed on journaling about the two women. I like the ornate background paper that you used, I also like the contrast that the pop of red gives to the page.

Love what you did with the template and I loved reading your journaling! <3 That big floral paper is just perfect!
