Always so much to see when traveling when one is willing to look. We were waiting to tour the Notre Dame Basilical in Ottawa but arrived too early. Low and behold, this spider statue was just across the street from it... turns out this is a pretty famous spider that has made it's way around

This is fascinating...I'm a bit of an arachnaphobe, so it does me good to read about spiders and how they really are just creatures of the world. Love the perspective of the shot from underneath that you used as the primary photo.

That photo drew me in...and I must say that spiders give me the creeps BUT this one is pretty interesting! I love the different views of it. The use of red on the page is very nice...the stitching, flower, highlighted text, and title all pull out the color of the flag in the photo. Nicely done!
