A few years ago, we had a serious drought and record high temperatures during our summer months. It was a regular sight to see bees in high numbers looking for
Buzz...buzz...buzz... That's them saying THANK YOU, kind lady!
They also might be saying..."Can I buy you drink, sweetie" but then they are drones...so probably not :)
Super, super, photo masking...love the incorporation of the hexagon shape into the mask. Dynamite effect!
Wonderful up close and personal touches...the title work, the border and the additional hexagon cutouts behind that awesome themed cluster!

OMG Jill this page is fantastic I love how you blended the photo into the hexagons and I like that font you used for your title and of course you always make the best clusters of elements. I am not a fan of bees lately as when we were riding a few weeks ago one of the trails had underground bees (or maybe they were wasps) and both me and my horse got stung.

What an incredible photo and observation. I too have been leaving out dishes of water for the bees after reading about it somewhere a while back. With little pebbles for then to alight on. But this shot of them dipping from the edge amazes me. The blending and hex mask just look fantastic, and of course your cluster is always beautiful. I'm imagining that one bee carrying the ribbon like Cinderella's dressers.

This page is another example of your brilliant blending. I am breath-took with the honeycomb mask with those beautiful little bees. Only Jill would leave water out for bees after an event like this. I love the bees and that lovely orange ribbon. The title is wonderful.
