What a fun way to spend Memorial Day! Love the messy edged paper you used and the way everything is arranged on the vertical strip. Beautiful placement of your lovely clusters so they throw shadows on your journaling.

What an incredible story! I feel so badly for Garrett. I'm sure he was totally bummed out about the terrific damage to his grill. You did a great job of building a fabulous layout down the LH side of your page, and then writing a sensitive journaling account with all the crazy/sad details on the RH side. The blending and stitching on the top layer is amazing, and your flower and foliage cascade is gorgeous.
