Stanley, WI Farm

<p class="MsoNormal">When my Grandpa Felix retired, he and my grandma thought if they moved back to the homestead farm, they could live off the land. (They didn,t have Social Security back in those days.) It was 180 miles away from all the close family.<span style="
Awesome vintage photos in this wonderful page! Great journaling of those memories - and I love the little wooden farm animals you used.

My ex-MIL boarded horses and my kids had the best time feeding the horses and playing around the barn. People make fun of farm-raised families, but they have experienced life to the fullest! I loved your story...it really touched me. The red background makes the b/w photos stand out and I love the wooden animals penned up behind the wire:) The inked border is a very nice touch!! Great page!!

Your journaling touched my heart, made me smile, reminisce...and then smile some more. I was raised on a small farm (more for family food than profit) and dad was employed elsewhere. Oh boy, do I remember those fun "slides" in my friends' hay loft LOL!
You have created the most beautiful and heart felt pages for your family's history. A true treasure of a layout!!
