Sorry Sushi!

Kelsey came with her Mom and Meagan met us later because she wasn’t letting us have sushi without her!</span>

The fish really was too cold to have any taste. It was cold rice and seaweed that I had trouble with. So this was to be my courageous try many years later to eat sushi again. I was going to play it safe and order from the “cooked menu” figuring that warm food might be easier to start and then move on to cold. I ordered the cooked crab wrap with crab on top.</span>

I started to cut the more than bite-size pieces and Lissa told me the proper was to eat it was to put the whole piece in my mouth. Okay, Wen in a sushi restaurant in Toledo do as those who’ve eaten there before. I put a piece, a whole piece, in my mouth.</span>

I grabbed a napkin and spared my throat what was so offensive to my mouth. First off the cooked crab was ice cold, not at all the warm food I was expecting. It was also wrapped in seaweed and cold rice, the things I disliked when I tried it many years ago, just the “crab on top” hid the seaweed and rice so I had no idea. I fear I offended the chef, but they took the crab dish back and replaced it with an order of fried rice which I really liked.</span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #333333;"> </span>

Try it again because it takes three strikes for an out? Well, sometimes you fly out on two strikes. I’ll stick to eating my fish warm.</span>

Great photos and journaling! Everybody doesn't have to like sushi, my hubby hates it. So it's quite alright. I like the background paper and the small clusters.

What a wonderful way to scrap your meal. Loved reading your journaling. I'm not an avid fan of it , but can do some. Your photos are wonderful.
