Aww, poor little kiddo! He sure looks like he needs his mama. I like the journaling that you did here. As sad as this story is, you'll look back on it someday and be glad to be able to read about it. I like the muted/vintage photo treatment, too. (It kind of looks like Instagram). It reinforces the idea of sleepiness, rest, and recovery. I like how you did a real close crop on the photos, too, to show his sleepy expression.
