Those strips are shadowed so they almost look like cut outs. I lke the painterly effects and scribbles, too.

Great background choice...it complements her pants/skirt really well! Love the glitter overlay and scribbles. The stitched tag is a nice touch and I like the use of WA! Nicely done!
