Our neighbour in 2015, Katrina owned a Maremma
named Sheba and she was a big dog. She guarded
her yard and each morning walked around the edge of it.
She also claimed our yard as her own though she never
came into it. She would not bark at us but anyone who
stepped into our yard she would bark so she proved a good
watch dog for us. When the grandchildren would come for
a visit I had to tell Sheba that they belonged to us and
she would stop barking. The bottom photo is Sheba asleep
on a frosty lawn on 31st May 2019. The other photos
were taken on 27th April 2015.
