Journaling - Ah, the serenity ! A classic line from a classic Aussie movie. Totally apt in this case though. We enjoyed solitude and spectacular natural beauty at Cosy Corner Beach. This is part of the Bay of Fires on the east coast of Tasmania. Loved the pure white sand, crystal blue clear water and stunning rock formations partly covered in orange lichen. Richard stretched out on the rocks, shut his eyes and enjoyed the serenity for a few minutes. August 2025.

I just rewatched that movie with my Melbourne family a couple of weeks ago!! Gorgeous photos, what a beautiful country we live in...you have scrapped these pics to wonderful eyecatching advantage here, loving the gorgeous floral cluster with tucked in small pics and interesting framing, the stitching and the word bits, the black filmstrip adds impact, the page edging is so soft and pretty. Beautiful picture for your main focus, beautifully blended. I really like the photo of Richard’s stretched-out legs—it adds to the mood of your great journaling. Your clusters look terrific, and the way you’ve scattered those little blue hearts ties everything together perfectly. A truly lovely composition! I mean, really lovely. I am glad Jill has give it a well-deserved BB.

Thanks so much Jill. I’m glad someone understood my reference. It’s hard not to think of the Castle when you hear the word serenity.

What wonderful photos and beautiful clustering! Love the paint stamped border, the swirled ribbon accents and the tiny butterfly ellies! Congrats on the well deserved Bakers Best nomination! TFS!

Congratulations on your nomination for Bakers Best. This is a stunning page and I enjoyed your journaling. When we were in Tasmania in 2007 we did not have time to visit that part of the state. Would love to return as we enjoyed Tasmania so much.
