Screens

My 10 year old grandson loves many things, but right now video games are tops. Before school started I would babysit he and his sister on the days their mother worked. I had been getting pretty hot in the afternoons especially and so we would hide from the heat under the living room fan and they would get their allotted ”screen time.” Aaron has time limits set on his gaming set and while he hates having to turn it off, he will grudgingly do so and then come sit where he can look at my screen as I finish a crossword puzzle or a paragraph of a book. Fortunately, he also loves to read. or play card or board games so it’s pretty easy to make him happy doing that instead of staring at a screen.

I used the provided 2025 August Template Challenge 2 template from Tinci Designs (Thank You!) I also used an old product from Neia Scraps called We Are Family and the level up sticker from Gamer by Dream Big Designs. I recolored the sticker and a lot of the items from the Neia Scraps Kit to make things brighter and to accent our primary colored shirts.
