Sadies Memories

Very interesting ... no ... amazing layout! I'm still trying to figure it out. First of all, I love the curled photo. Second, layering the mask on top of the photo and then erasing parts of it is nothing less than inspired. Third, each girl is wearing pops of the same or similar color (i.e., bracelet, lipstick, shirt) in increasing intensities the further they are from the camera, which helps to maintains the same degree of overall weight and balance for each subject. Finally, thanks to swirls of black bits, sparkling star scatters, and a disappearing arm, one can't help but feel a sense of magic at play here. Though I'm undoubtedly guilty of overanalysis here, I wanted to demonstrate exactly why I believe it's an AMAZING layout!

Aww, so cute! I cannot wait for my daughter to attend her first highschool dance. I love how Sadie's is low key and you don't have to go out and buy expensive dresses. Love the lifted frame and the cool mask you used for the photo!
