Remnants of a shattered world

This past spring we had a record amount of rain and
flooding at Nolin Lake. The photo overlooking Dog Creek
was taken where a beautiful home once stood. If you saw
this home from the water, you would never have thought
anything like this was even possible. My heart goes out to
the owners whom had completed this new build just a
few years ago. The home on that hill literally slid into the water.

That is a tragic story and fitting title. I love the large photo w smaller ones to support it. Nice space remaining for your journaling, too. The texture and colors of the blended pp are so effective.

Oh dear, that is awful, we are seeing many instances like this in our country recent years as well. Love your minimal embellishment on this page...I wish I could stop at such minimalism, which I love but cannot seem to emulate...the photo masking looks awesome. Love the textured peeling bg paper you chose.
