Reflections of a Legacy

I used JSS Kit Glorious Day kit that you can find here: <a href="https://store.gingerscraps.net/Glorious-Day-Digital-Scrapbook-Kit.html">https://store.gingerscraps.net/Glorious-Day-Digital-Scrapbook-Kit.html</a> Photo Mask is
Oh my dear I'm so sorry for your loss, no matter how long time ago your dad passed away, I know it hurts. My dad passed away in 2017 (autumn), it was like a nightmare, still I'm trying to put myself in one piece. Sending you love. Beautiful picture of you and your dad. I like how you used the journal book, beautifully done, good luck

I admire your resolve to use this challenge opportunity for personal insight refelections rather than relying on a beautiful photo from nature. Love the way you did the journaling in a journal book and marked teh page with a ribbon bookmark. Lovely clusters. I like the flourish swirls coming out of the bottom one.

Great layout and journaling! <span style="display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">Good Luck!</span>

What a tender and touching piece of journaling. The reflections in the pictures are beautiful, and I hope, healing. Your layout in really lovely with its beautiful clusters and the stitching! GREAT stitching! The layout of the journaling in the book is so well done. You have done such a beautiful job creating this.

Oh, sweetie, what a hard loss for you. You know, it took a great deal of courage to face your grief so openly, but I suspect it was cathartic and I'm so glad you felt safe sharing it here. You've made a lovely LO here, I always see yellow and any shade of purple as meaning loyalty and love and often joy. I know you are not feeling joy now, but one day...It's also not to late, ever, to say good bye and to say the things that are in your heart. Write it all down like you did here, buy a large helium balloon (or two or three if you write a lot), attach the letter to the balloon. Send it Heavenward with all your love. If you live near an airport make sure no planes are in the air or on the flight path. Sending you prayers for peace and healing.

A super page. LOVE your take on this challenge and your journaling is awesome.

Hugs to you . . . we share this in common. There's never enough time. I love that you used a then and now photo, I love the open book for the journaling and I'm in love with these colors.

Your page is beautiful, and your journaling brought me tears. I've lost my dad 15 years, and it seems like yesterday...
Good luck in the contest!

Oh Sweetie, I know that feeling so well, and your journaling touched me deeply. My father died in 2011 very suddenly, and I was propelled into the same place of "How does life go on without you??". In 2015 my Mom died and I became an orphan. I Totally understand. It doesn't get better per se, but it gets easier to deal with. You journaled this so well, and your elements really go well with it all.

Beautiful journaling. I love the way you put your words on the notebook paper. The whole page is so incrredibly touching. Thank you for sharing!

I agree with everything that them lot up there said. <span id="editme741953" class="normalfont">Amazing journaling and layout! Love how you wrote it all down on the book! Good luck!></span>

I really like that it looks like your journaling is in a book. That is such a creative touch. I also really like the approach that you took with your reflections pictures.

wonderful page! I really like the amazing layers of the clusters. Especially the bottom one!

So beautifully put. This layout was an act of love for your dad. I'm sure he knew you loved him. Great layout
