Great recipe i've used for years!

This is a very old recipe from Eagle Brand Condensed Milk that I have used every Christmas since my children were small. I usually double this recipe, however, since one batch never seems to be enough!

used Let Me Scrapbook's December Recipe Card kit as well as a few elements from the full kit:

here is the recipe:
MAGIC COOKIE BARS

½ cup butter
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (one 13 ½ ounce package will make two batches)
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 6 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 3 ounce can flaked coconut (or, if doubling the recipe, just use 1 7 ounce bag—I like the bagged coconut better)
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F if using a glass dish). In 13x9-inch baking pan, melt butter. Sprinkle crumbs over butter. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top evenly with chocolate morsels, coconut, and nuts; press down gently. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly before cutting. Makes 24 bars.
