Praying Mantis

Not sure what prayers he is praying...but I'm letting him alone. LOL. We have these insects in our flower garden and...I let them alone there too because they enjoy munching on the other harmful ones that invade our flowers every year.

Thanks, I'm an avid (non professional) photographer. My favorite subjects are wildlife. I love macro, so you can find me spending hours taking photos of insects. My family much prefers I point my camera in their direction instead of them. My family affectionately calls me the paparazz lol. >>

We used to have both Praying Mantises and Walking Sticks visit our yard when I was young. I thought they were just the coolest things! I haven't seen one in decades I love the play on words and the little critters look very relaxed hanging around him. Cute page!
