Favourite Flower
At this moment, my favourite flower is that of the Plumbago shrub, partly because, here in Australia, all the plants are going to sleep for the winter and the plumbago is about the only thing I have that is flowering, but also because, this year, it is really stunning....a vibrant blue that is so eyecatching and it is totally covered in blooms This shrub is the host plant for the plumbago blue butterfly.

Such an unusual color for a flower, too. We have bushes of them around here. Some flower profusely, some don't. I like the blending you did here and your always convincing clustering. Super stellar curling ribbon shadowed exquisitely and anchored sublimely with a teeny flower. I'm always a fan of torn notebook edging, so your journal spot resonates with me. Glither!!

This is just gorgeous! I love the photos of the flowers and the notebook paper for the journaling. Beautiful clusters too!

Amazing and beauty-filled plumbago bush...amazing Mother Nature's pairing it with the plumbago blue butterfly...and AMAZING tribute to both by the Da Vinci scrapbook master herself!

WOW!! Beautiful colour, beautiful flower! This layout leaped out of that gallery at me! Thanks for the interesting journaling and making the font big enough to read also a copy out at the front so we can all read what you said without having to get the magnifying glass out! I have never seen this beautiful climber in the UK so I googled it, it says a native of South Africa and is toxic to humans. It can cause an upset stomach, irritate the eyes and skin, and is harmful if ingested, with toxins being absorbed by the skin. It might be all that but on here it is a beauty to the eye and I am nominating it for Bakers Best, you can find it HERE

What a wonderful shrub! OMG it is stunning. LUCKY YOU to have such a beauty in your yard. Your layout is beautiful too. I love how you used the torn paper as a photo mask!! Thank you for participating in my challenge. XOXO Diane

Oh my, what is not to love on this page. I always say your journaling is fabulous, there has to be another way to say I feel drawn into your world with your wonderful words and that your writing paints a picture of your life. Jill's journaling, the high point of my day. Love the touches of lace peeking past the torn edge and the perfect paint splatters hugging the underneath of the clusters. LOVE the tiny flower on the ribbon curl. Did you notice a butterfly was almost landing on your page?

Congratulations on the nomination for Baker's Best! Your layout is in the running for Layout of the Week for the week ending 4/26! You can vote in the poll HERE. Good luck!
