After a fun morning of op shopping with granddaughter Laura, we stopped off for brunch at a lovely old historical building which had been repurposed as a restaurant but still retained many of the original features such as pressed metal ceilings.
Laura chose a simple toasted ham and cheese croissant with a mixed berry smoothie
..but I went all out with a Belgian waffle topped with banana, strawberries, honeycomb shards, icecream and caramel sauce! Dee-licious!

Super choice of that dominant, beautiful, blush-pink hue...flattered by the lace and winding ribbon. Sigh...sigh. Be still my heart.

As for your Gran's choice...sigh, sigh...and for goodness sake get me a drool bib!...and a defibrillator.
