I was late to take up the mobile phone trend, refusing to have one for such a long time. I figured I had managed to get to quite a mature age without the need of one, didnt particularly want to be contactable 24 hours a day, was appalled at the negative impacts of social media and so on....Well, finally I succumbed to family pressure when they arbitrarily gifted me one for a birthday. Now my phone never leaves my side, it goes everywhere with me, I use it for most everything-photos, texts, emails, financials, shopping, lists, reminders, reading, daily notes and appointments, ...you all know how it is. If I accidently leave the house without it, I will turn the car around and go back for it. I feel underdressed without it!

What a fabulous take on the challenge - I love everything about this. The sketchy pics, the fabulous 'you' coming out of the phone with a phone! The word strips are fabbity and all the little lines and squiggles make me so envious. I love the papery flowers and foliage and the use of B&W spotted paper around the edges to pick out the spots in the brackets and flowers is delish! YOU ROCK!

My grandmother only got a smart phone because TSA didn't know how to work her flip phone, so they had to pat her down.

I still have a love hate relationship with my phone and resisted for a long time. I love having a great camera so handy, though! Your page is fabulous as always and I love how you used all the sketches! Congrats on the Baker's Best nomination!
