Links, Credits & Journaling
Journaling: I have waited my entire life to see the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. I missed it a few years back when we lived in Kentucky. I almost missed it again, as I learned to late Tuesday that it was visible as far south as Florida! But, I had one more chance! The G4 storm was still going strong for Wednesday. I learned I could take my camera & it could see the full glory of the Aurora even if our eyes could not. I almost didn’t go out because I saw nothing. At first there was only a haze obscuring the stars, even in the photos it was just a peachy hint. But then we actually could see the sky turn to a pinkish haze and even saw streaks form. Altho, it was the camera still, that revealed it’s awesome beauty even more than our eyes could. In addition, E saw 4 shooting stars! I am so glad we braved the cold as it was an unforgettable night for us all!

This is so cool! Thank you for sharing the photos. I also enjoyed reading your journaling.

What a terrific page. It is beautifully blocked. Your journaling is outstanding and I particularly love your choice of elements. The stars seem to suit the night sky. The clock reminds us how long you have waited and the round Alpha is just plain fun. I have to say it is my lifelong ambition to see the Aurora also, I’m glad you got your chance.

Beautiful photos! I was lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis when we lived in Alaska. It's a rare and lovely treat! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing kit of pictures! I am a fan of auroras, they are so pretty! I enjoyed reading your journaling too. Pretty clustering and layering! wishing you a wonderful day dear Jessica!

Thank you @msbrad , @FormbyGirl , @MarilynZ & @Grace. for all your thoughtful comments! I hope you get to see one @FormbyGirl - one thing I learned living so far south is that you really don't see a lot with your own eyes - but the camera picks most of it up! The skies looked "normal" but I did notice the star filled sky seemed to just stop in the Northern view - took a photo and watched the Aurora unfold mostly that way. @MarilynZ I imagine living in Alaska you saw some gorgeous views of them! I have always found them so fascinating!
