Those do look yummy. The journaling is wonderful and I love the large title on the page. The clustering around the photos are very pretty.

The journaling is really touching, I am so sad for you. This is a fabulous layout - the font is perfect. I love that you count out 12, then admit to doubling it. I am so pleased you have found a treat to enjoy. What I really love though, is that you picked a kit called "Manic Monster" to scrap this.
