Monarch Release 9-2-25

Journaling: This year unfortunately I only had 4 monarch caterpillars and this morning numbers 2, 3 & 4 all eclosed. Since the weather was nice I planned on releasing them this evening and Calvin & Rosie were able to come over to help with the release. Rosie released the 1st one, Calvin the 2nd, and Grampy the 3rd one. Rosie’s flew over to the deck and I put it on the lantana, Calvin’s few up to the front yard maple tree and Grampy’s flew far away and the kiddos ran after it and waved goodbye.

Always a magically satisfying moment. Fun documentary of them taking off. I like how you fit the journaling into that tiny block.

Great blocking of these fun butterfly photos! Wonderful journaling too! Love the orange backdrop and pretty themed cluster! TFS!
