I'm over the moon about the red stitched edger, just like this sweet puppy love photo. I'm detecting subtle paw prints and other delights behind the mask, noting the black frames placement, AND loving the little triangles detail at the bottom, too. Very loveable page.
Wonderful, and very skillful job, @Jill. Mixed media layout style is one of my favorites, and this is a wonderful example of that style. The paw prints leading from the bottom to the top of the background, beginning at the triangles and ending at the top triangles is a well placed and subtle visual line that does not overpower the layout. I love everything about this layout, including how all of the colors coordinate with the skin tone of Maddie. Great Job!
Oh my goodness, when on earth do you have time to create such masterpieces. Your blending techniques get more and more fabulous as time goes by and you were already a master at it! The blending of the graph paper and the paws etc. is a step above. Your layering is so wonderful. You have such delightful quirky flowers and loopy things. I love stitching and you have it all over. It isn't just the fun things you have - like the @glee -full frames, it is that your eyes can wander all over a million times and find something new.
