It was the 12th September 2021 and we were
celebrating our Wedding Anniversary with
burgers by the river. This ended up being the
last picnic lunch we ever had beside our town’s
river. You can just see a glimpse of the river
near the top of the photo.

It looks so peaceful as you were enjoying your anniversary. It is hard to believe that such a peaceful scene could turn into something so tragic. It is great that you do have the pictures from days like this to remember the better times with.

Diane, I live in Australia. The river is the Richmond River in Northern New South Wales. It is the river that flooded our home 3 years ago and caused us to sell up and move back to the I state grew up in.

I am glad you have that memory Anne-Marie, it looks so peaceful and beautiful. Who knew that in just a few months it would be a whole different story. It is sometimes good to not know what is around the corner thereby spoiling a precious moment. You have created such a pretty page to record this occasion
