No Jennifer, it doesn't sound odd at all..I too miss people calling me by my full name, but after all these years the woman with the full name and I don't seem to match anymore..its like having a split identity! Love the minimalist approach and the whole sentence as siggy..

My sister's name was Jennifer, she always got Jenny. My name is so short it cannot be shortened any further. Maybe that is the reason I only grew to be just over 5 feet do you think??:D I love the cascading hearts over the big J of your name. Nice sig.
