LOL. I love Jonathan! Love the title work, and all those daisies and reds give this a real "farmy" feel. Beautiful.

LOL Jill! That is THE BEST story! Fantastic journaling. I really love the sunflowers and daisies and other natural bits. They really anchor the page. The seed scatterings are fantastic and I really like the dark red for the background.

Hey Jill! What wonderful storytelling. Your cluster layers have such depth, from the wheel to the top most daisy, they are beautifully conceived. I'm totally taken in by your titlework, the bit of chicken wire is such a great touch as is the combo of small script and large wooden alpha. That you think too include minute details like angling the "o" to hint at Jonathan's quirkiness is delightful. And can I just say, the combo of the jeweled button on the striped grosgrain bow is spectacular! Fantastic layout my dear. What a delightful piece of journaling!!! I just love the way the cluster interacts with the title. Love the chicken wire in the background. The clusters are amazing and are shadowed perfectly! There is so much going on here but it all works together in an amazing fashion! Love it all!!

Oh my gosh, Jill, only you would have a story like this! What kind of a bird IS Jonathon? Do you let him in the house? Where did he find the infertile eggs? Inquiring minds want to know. I love the title all tangled in chicken wire, how appropriate. The burlap looking background feels very 'farmy' and the scatter of beads like chicken seed. The flowers look like flowers that would live all around an area that Jonathon had lived in and they match the rooster in the picture. How fresh and enchanting and incredibly entertaining your layouts are. Not the norm for our Jill, but magnificently beautiful and eminently interesting.
I agree, the Bakers only deserve the very best and Glee has nominated it!
