I used Connie Prince's January 2026 mini kit and bundle, and the book cover from The Avalon Ladies' Scrapbooking Society by Darien Gee.
Journaling reads: I was excited to participate in this month’s choice for the GingerScraps Book Club. The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society by Darien Gee was a fun read. While there were a lot of characters, and some of them were quite relateable, there were several characters that made choices that I felt were not realistic or quite believable in their situation. That being said, the plot was entertaining and had some funny moments.
What a lovely page to share about the Book Club book for January. Very nice placement of everything on the page. I do like that kit you used so must have a closer look at it.
Clever use of the challenge mini Alyssa, I esp like how you used the torn paper strip and the hexag coaster. Nice work on the bg blend allowing a glimpse of the plaid paper to show through.
Fun font choice for your journaling! Book clubs are a great Winter activity! Love your layered border and well placed themed ellies! The librarian in me loves this cute kit choice!
Wonderful page! I love the way you used the elements, so clever! I enjoy reading your journaling, and I'm so glad you joined the book club and enjoyed the book. I've chosen your pretty and creative page as Baker's Best 01/04 - 01/10, congrats!
Congratulations on the nomination for Baker's Best! Your layout is in the running for Layout of the Week for the week ending 01/10! You can vote in the poll HERE. Good luck!
Congratulations on winning LOTW, well deserved! I like how you arranged the journalling between the pictures of the stacked books, also like the edging of the stacked and shabby papers!
