Blisters and back aches for nothing. . .
I had spent all morning raking leaves in half of the front yard. It’s not as easy as it was when I was a kid. Chad comes home and does three times the work with 1/4 of the time with the leaf blower and his big arms to scoop up the leaves in. Then he cut the rest up with the lawn mower. I guess I worked harder, not smarter. It was the nostalgia of it all that made me do it. Well, I am over that now!
I can understand being over that now - but the nostalgia is strong in this delightful take on the challenge! I absolutely love the awesome branches - the high one with the owl perched on it, and the large branch across the middle with the title on it! Great photos, wonderful journaling - and the fun rake ellie finishes it off!
I giggled at your journaling. It is so funny to think about how hard we had to work when we were younger and now with all of the new technology, those same demanding chores seem so easy.
