Hawaii 2009 Ancient Travelers Right

These petroglyphs really look well preserved and untouched by hands of more modern day travellers. I am guessing the lava rock is much harder to carve into than the red sandstone carved petroglyphs in the southwest. It's kind of cool to see the these ancient drawings on black stone. I like the hula dancer on top of the tiki totem and the way she is "holding" the end of the banner.
