Sometimes we remember best by doing rather than seeing or hearing. In our annual reflection and planning workshop in December 2023, we did a beachfront activity that had teams starting with a set of items representing activities planned and then had different scenarios where they had to fit more into their boxes, or exchange things with other teams, or totally start over with a new set of items. Some things fit well because they were small and could go in the gaps while other large items were a struggle to refit once removed. All in all it was a fun way to consider how changes to plans would have major effects on the overall workplan.
