While we were in Door County, Grandma and Grandpa found a hands-on art shop. They had several different art things you could do. At first I didn’t want to do anything, so Grandpa and I walked around outside. Then we found Aricka and Grandma doing glass fusion. I wanted to do that. Grandma bought a bowl for me to make and helped me cut the glass. She gave me the “pliers” and let me try cutting. I placed all the pieces on the glass myself. I gave it to Kim for Christmas.
Next she bought all of us t-shirts we could paint on. I was too short to reach over the machine that held the shirt as it went around and around so Grandma lifted me up to make mine. Aricka and I got to help Grandma make her shirt also.
Awesome! This day with the grands (young and young-at-heart) is a masterpiece of scrapbook keepsaking. Love the first-person journaling...a heartwarming touch.
What a wonderful day to have with the art! I saw a place like this when we were in Door County [2024] but not enough time with our tour to partake of the art. Sure wish we could have. Awesome page.
