I love the floral paper and lace you can see on the edges of the page. I also like all the butterflies added.

Loved your journalling Becky, is that plant really called a Hallelujah cactus or are you simply rejoicing in its renewed activity? I fancy my mother used to call hers an inch plant (?).Love the glimpse of pretty floral down the sides, a lovely subtle match up with the plant, the lace is a nice detail, love that you used a photo spot for a journal card, the side cluster is pretty and the black detail pops. Awesome as always.

That's a great story, Becky. And wow, gorgeous! I think those butterflies compliment it marvelously. Your choice of trim and folded ribbon w buttons looks fab. The black spiky ellie adds just the right touch of contrast, as do the complimentary floral pp edges. I've always wanted a Christmas cactus. Hope yours will now bloom yearly, even if it's in the Spring!!

I am impressed that you could get that plant to bloom at all. Mine won't!
I really love the mask and how you left room to journal.

oh my goodness! the photos caught my eye immediately ... LOVE the layout of the photos and use of the mask. the colors are just beautiful! here in the northeast, we call them Christmas cactuses and i had a HUGE one for 15 years when it finallyl decided it had had enough last year! the trick to get them to bloom is to leave them outside in the summer (mine was a huge hanging basket) and don't water too often. then bring them in as soon as the weather cools. mine was loaded with blooms and little offsprings every year. and FYI .. the only plants i ever manage NOT to kill are the succulents.
