Always sad and a bit frightening when someone we love is suffering. The effects are readily seen on their body and most probably in emotions as well. As my peer group of older seniors say, "Aging is not for feint (of heart)" Neither is watching it happen.

It is so difficult to see our loved ones suffering. But, you have done a wonderful job of chronicleing his journey.
