<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;">My Aunt Sylvia used to make quilts, not the way my daughter quilts by purchasing coordinating fabrics and blocking them together but by pulling together any available useable fabric - old shirts, sheets, tea towels or s
What a pretty layout! The cluster is beautiful. I love the quilt you've made. Your journaling is wonderful!

Stunning background for these wonderful ladies. I bet those quilts were wonderful. Good luck

Michelle, this absolutely gorgeous. I love, love, love the quilt you have pieced together. Your journaling is oustanding and your clusters are a delight to look at. When Ginger said she wanted to be able to feel the textures - I think this is what she was looking for. Good luck!>>

Loved reading your journaling. What a treasure to have this photo and the memories to go with. Yes, once upon a time...any fabrics were 're-used' to create something new. Love the paper piecing on your bg mat. Super textures too.

Beautiful journaling! Love the quilted look to your layout....<span style="display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">Good Luck in the Challenge!</span>

Amazing layout for this challenge. You really nailed it with the template, the textures, the story, and that amazing photo of those talented ladies! I would say you are following the family line of creative people! So great to show the history through the years and to document it like this for a wonderful keepsake

This is fantastic. I really like the way that all of the triangles stitched together really give the feel of a quilt.

So very clever to use the pieced template twice to create and inner quilt blocking. I like the way the quilt pieces are mostly solid colors rather than patterns.

What a treasure, Michelle to have quilts from your aunt and this looks so neat (how you made the quilt) I think you must take after Aunt Sylvie with all the different coordinating pieces. Super use of that template! Fantastic journaling as well. Good luck on this Survivor Challenge!

What a fabulous patchwork background. Love the clusters + photos over the background. Great work

Not only a lovely tribute to those you love and the joy their craft brought, but you made a wonderful "quilt" yourself. This is a super interpretation of the challenge.

what a precious photo! love the quilted background ♥

Fabulous quilt, love your paper choices and the use of the textures, and the photo, priceless! beautifully done, good luck!
