The ‘Celts’ were widely spread groups of Indo-European people that inhabited significant portions of Europe and Antolia, a peninsula in modern-day Turkey who existed during the Iron Age. They were warriors and engaged in agriculture, trade, sailing, fishing, or handicrafts. They practiced polytheism.
