So far this year (2025) we have been on several trips to beautiful places such as Dogwood Canyon. Missouri, in the left and right photos and Atlanta State Park, Texas, in the center photo. We have seen so much wildlife and plant life that I can barely keep up with the photos I have taken. In Dogwood Canyon we saw
buffalo and elk, fish and eagles. We saw deer, eagles, red-headed woodpeckers, and wild boar at Atlanta State Park. We have also been to Lake Tawakoni State Park, Texas, and saw carps spawning. That was crazy wild. We have more places to go to this year. I love the raccoons at Tyler State Park, Texas. And we are
going to tour Alaska for our 50th wedding anniversary in the summer. I am looking forward to dog sledding and photographing bears catching salmon. The landscape is gorgeous there and I will finally get to see the glaciers for real. Interacting in and with nature is my favorite pastime, but I don't do snakes and I don't like mosquitos or poison ivy.
