Woohoo! One of my favorite songs! My daughter's class sang this once at their Spring Concert and they were amazing, so lively! Your blending is fantastic and LOVE the gorgeous clustering on the side with the string tucked in as well as the confetti to add a fun feel. Your journaling is special. I'm sure the memories of the road to grandma will never be forgotten ♥

Your journaling made me cry for a few reasons: I adore John Denver, and especially "Country Roads". My Dad had a country band and he used to sing that song and I sang the harmony behind him. John Denver was ALSO my very first concert - the "Back Home Again" tour. Finally, I cried because I too have lost my Grandparents and the road to their house was always so exciting knowing I was going to see them!
Your shadowing is really beautiful, and I love that you named the street sign!

Love the road going into the photo. I do go visit the old road to my grandmothers home. The home is still there but completely rebuilt.

Gorgeous! There are so many pieces about this page that I love - the way the embellishment road blends into the photograph, your heartfelt journalling, the title, and particularly that stunning border cluster. The way the string and scatters reach out further than the flowers really makes it special - I'll be trying to remember that as I try to create my own border clusters (it's something I'm not very good at, so I love being inspired to try new things by work I see in the galleries).
