Counting my Blessings

For those of you who'd like to read the journaling, it states: The feeling of the holiday season has changed for me since losing my mother, but I still count the blessings of being raised by her and being instilled by so many lasting traditions. This is a photo of my mother when she was a young school girl. She told me stories about how poor they were and how she would dream about the life she wanted. With hard work and determination, she and my father created a beautiful life for themselves and us kids.
