I finally made a skep, after wanting to for SO long. I will be making other sizes with different 'base' elements now that i know it is so easy!

This project is just adorable! When I got my first home, I decorated the laundry room with a bee theme. It was so bright and cheery and I just loved it. This little project would have fit in perfectly. Good luck in this week's Surivor challenge.

For those asking, the skep is only decorative here. And the sharpie was used to color the rope to look like a hole ;) i grew up in a beekeeping family, and my husband and I have a few hives here ourselves.

I had to look up "skep." That's fun. It looks hard. I know some people who have lots of hives who'd probably like something like that. Love the little bunny looking at it and the ribbon added to the top.
