Karen, you are extraordinarily gifted, as well as being a kind and tender person. I love the examples of your handiwork. Your sampler is lovely. I enjoy cross-stitch also. I might pull out a cross stitch my son started about 30 years ago. What an inspiration you are. your layout is just gorgeous. I love theexamples of everything you have done, but to pull out the perfect colours and elements to complement them also - what a triumph!
