christy, I love this. Though not a yupper (is that how y'all spell it?) I am a MI ex-pat living in Hawaii since I fled here for college. I have a good high school friend on the MT faculty and my son had a Hawaii classmate who went to MT as well. Loved reading your fun story about the Mac; I never knew, but as a mom, can so relate. Love your kid's sense of humor. The gnome and his packages under the tree are the perfect bit of whimsy. I like the stitches at the top of the page and how you wrapped your text, too. Happy holidays!
