Journaling:
This is not the most flattering picture of me. It's one I didn't even know had been taken. My hair is growing back in a curly mess and I am looking at the tattoo I've designed. My dress is a quick pull over with no form to hide the deformity of the surgery I've just gone through two mo
This is so beautifully done. The story is so behind your photo is so touching. Finding the joy of being alive after what you have been through is what this picture is all about.

You might not like this photo but it was perfect for the challenge and even though it represents a difficult time in your life tI love the the journaling ends on a postive note. Love the stitched banner detail at the top of the photo with a ribbon tail tucked in among the triangle shapes.

Kellie dear, your photo is beautiful! and I think your husband think the same, and I guess for him has a special value, because you are alive. I love your paper choices, the stacks and the beautiful clustering, great use of the banner, good luck my dear

I enjoyed reading your journaling...an awesome story of struggle and recovery. Really love the title and it's mix of upper and lower case. And your clustering is perfectly done. Great page!

I love your true photo and journaling. You made a beautiful page. Good luck in the contest!

I think y our photo is lovely. You certainly showed a lot of courage and your scrapping shows this off well. Good luck!

You completely encompass the meaning of "Survivor" with your story and your reflection. I love your journaling, and I really love how it reminds you that you are alive. Great job on your element placement on the page, and I love how real you are with your journaling!

I love the photo, and I am betting it is a favorite of your hubby as it reflects SO MUCH... being alive, change, courage, promise of tomorrow (with your tattoo), and the past. I am so glad you placed it here, as it will provide a lot of hope for MANY women! How awesome that your hair came back thick and curly like that! I am sure it makes you look way younger than if it came back sparce and straight! Wonderful cluster and I like the extra details such as the stitching. Great job on this!

Your page is amazing. I know that your husband was waiting for the perfect time to share the picture with you and he did a wonderful thing by sharing the picture with you for the challenge. Just so well done.
