Your journaling speaks to me. Just perfect. I like that you have florals, but it still has a masculine vibe to it. Precious memories.

I got goosebumps reading this - Your journaling is so heart-felt and moving. The shadow on the water brought tears to my eyes when you likened it to the shadow of the man. Your scrapping on this is amazing. You have always been a great scrapper, but you have pulled out all the stops on this contest and shown us how wonderful you skills are, as well as your sense of design and your ability to touch people with your words. I love the lightly themed elements, the tall grasses, the wood, the feel of the lake and nature. I love your clusters, they are so beautifully put together. Your title is excellent and your scripture! WOW. Just lovely. The stitching at the top and bottom is fabulous. The journaling around the shape.... everything about this is great.

What beautiful reflections in the water. Love your choice of elements. They are perfect for the theme of the photo. What touching journaling. It is great to be able to help out our parents. You really have created a perfect page here. Good luck.

Lovely journaling and every detail in your LO is thought of, right from the wood + jean paper and elements to the perfect scripture. Wonderfully put together.

Love how you fitted the photo into the shapes of the papers. Love the heartfelt journaling, the colours, clusters and title! Good luck!

Loved reading your journaling. Beautiful photo of your dad to go with it. Love the curves and your clusters. Great page.

Lord, Rochelle, how I can sympathize with you. I'm so sorry things are the way they are. You have chosen a wonderful verse to hang on to. Your layout is beautiful. Your elements are perfect and your paper choices are great. Love the stitching! Your photo is just beautiful. Your layout is amazing! Good luck!

Most amazing layout and journaling. Love all the papers and shapes and cluster sceens are beautiful and just add to the layout. The fishing pail looks just like one of the elements in the corner.

what a great photo find of your dad doing the thing that he seems to find joy in. The outdoor scene, the water, the shadow, and the lovely mix of kits and elements all make this for a memorable page. You could give it to your dad. Im sure he would love it.

Absolutely lovely layout highlighting a wonderful photo. I love that in the shadow, his hand is raised, either "hi" or "bye" or "joy" :-) Hang in there.

What a wonderful page and so beautifully composed! I love how you tied the shadow in the photo to your journaling. I love all the different shapes and curves and beautiful papers/elements you chose. Very nice journaling!!

This is beautiful in so many ways. A neat photo to treaure. Your journaling is amazing. The bible quote is perfect.

Oh, I am glad you couldn't find the photo you wanted. Maybe the Lord didn't want you to because you had words that needed "speaking." Your LO is just perfect in every way. You write beautifully, elegantly, and eloquently. So many of us are facing these same situations and you have given voice to those who cannot yet speak them themselves. You offer us the gift of your heart, experience, and love. Priceless!

Beautiful page, photo and journaling. So glad you can be there for your parents. Those life changes are heart wrenching. I like the way you used the big bracket edge. The angled wood bg paper is such a great choice, and I like the little more edge strips for your detail documentation.

Beautiful photo, the shadow struck me right away and then I looked to the trees reflection. I was certain the shadow ment more than the trees and then I read the journaling. Wonderful reflection page.

I love the way you framed in the picture with all the clusters and paper strips. Good luck!

Your layout is beautiful - the woodgrain background, your awesome clusters, and the beautiful picture of your dad. Your journaling is amazing. You have so eloquently described what so many of us face with caring for aging parents. I love the way you separated the bible verse on the stitched piece, and then again separated your "lament" on the notebook paper pieces. A very creative touch!
