You definitely deserve kudos for this fabulous and raw layout. I can remember wishing I was the weight I was the first time I thought I was fat. (Have you noticed that the word fat is just not a cool word to use these days, I had a hard time typing it!) Your artsy layouts are really good, they always are, but this one should be published world wide and admired! Our perceptions are distorted by socially constructed ideas of what we 'should' look like, as our behaviour is formed by how we think we should behave. This is wonderful, Cindy, and you are right, NOW is the time to enjoy life! (Your layouts is awesome, too! Not just the concepts, but the actual creation itself!)

This is such an awesome layout on so many levels! Wonderful paper choice, and I love the creative selfie you took. The way your journaling is fanned out is really neat and not often seen. Great bold statement on your warning too, and your clusters are gorgeous! Love the butterfly! Even though I'm not in my 40s yet, I feel about the same way about being happy when I first thought I was fat.

These bright colors just bring your eyes in. I like your take on this weeks challenge. Great journaling. I think there are a LOT of us who feel the same way you do. At some point, we need to find peace with who we are and what we look like.
